CHERYL CHADWICK EARLY LEARNING CENTER:

 

Abbott Substitute Teacher (As Needed) Bridgeton NJ – Responsible for filling in for absent teachers. Must be able to follow a classroom schedule, lesson plan, and work with children of ages 3-4. The position is on-call when needed and shifts may vary from day-to-day. High School Diploma or GED certificate, Bridgeton or County substitute certificate, and a valid NJ Driver License are required.

 

Substitute Teacher’s Assistant (As Needed) Bridgeton NJ – To execute educational program in line with CCELC educational goals, beliefs, and designed curriculum. Responsible for filling in for absent teachers. Must be able to follow a classroom schedule and work with various ages 0-5. Position is on-call when needed shift may vary from day-to-day. Must have a HS Diploma or GED certificate and a valid NJ Driver License.

 

FAMILY SUCCESS CENTER

 

Family Partner Worker (F/T) Bridgeton/Millville - Will conduct intake interviews, complete documentation, schedule appointments, data entry, plan and assist with activities, assist customers navigate social service systems, gather information and make referrals. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Must have a valid NJ Driver licenses, must have own transportation, ability to read and write, flexibility, bilingual is plus, good customer service skills, work independently and as a team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, awareness of resources in the community.

 

Volunteer & Community Partnership Coordinator (F/T) Millville – Will recruit and train volunteers and families, assist in program planning with families, conduct outreach efforts, coordinate activities for volunteers, overall volunteers, maintain schedules, other related duties. An Associate Degree is required. At least one-year experience in recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers for community based organizations, charities etc. and experience working with children and families in a community based setting. Must have a valid NJ Driver license, must have own transportation, ability to read and write, flexibility, etc.

 

HEAD START:

 

EHS Group Teacher (F/T) Sicklerville NJ - Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the assigned classroom; ensuring that it meets with the Head Start Performance Standards and New Jersey Licensing Regulations. Must meet or exceed the qualification requirements set forth in Chapter 122, Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers, State of New Jersey, 10:122-4.5 (4) and requirements of the Head Start Act 2007. Clear Child Abuse Registry Information for the State of NJ. Must have a car available on a daily basis. Bilingual Skills a plus

 

Teachers Assistant (F/T) Glassboro NJ - Assist the Head or Group Teacher in carrying out those activities which will ensure that the classroom meets both the Head Start Performance Standards and the New Jersey Licensing Regulations. Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to read and write sufficiently to maintain proper records. Clear Child Abuse Registry Information for the State of NJ. Must have a car available on a daily basis.

Food Service Worker (F/T) Williamstown NJ - Carry out responsibilities which ensure that the Center meets the Head Start Performance Standards relating to Nutrition, CACFP guidelines and the New Jersey Licensing Regulations. Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. A parent or member of the target area who shows the potential for performing duties of a cook. Clear Child Abuse Registry Information for the State of NJ. Previous experience in food preparation and service. Valid NJ Driver’s License.

 

Family Advocate (F/T) Williamstown NJ - The Family Advocate is responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and facilitating the effective delivery of Social Services and Parent Involvement to Head Start children, families and staff in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards and the New Jersey Licensing Regulations. Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D., along with 15 college credits. Must read and write sufficiently to maintain proper records. Clear Child Abuse Registry Information for the State of NJ. Must have a car on a daily basis and a valid New Jersey driver’s license. Bilingual Skills a plus.

 

Training Associate (F/T) Bridgeton NJ - The Training Associate is required to implement a training plan with input from Head Start management. This plan is to be based on information collected through professional improvement plan and implemented with the assistance of vast diversity of resources. Implement Head Start wide training plan. Establishing and maintaining a relationship with Head Start program management to maximize training opportunities. Work with management to make arrangements for In service training held throughout the year, including, but not limited to, payments, supplies for the training, agreements for space, agreements with consultants, documents needed for in services, maintaining documentation related to in service. Prepare monthly report to be distributed to the Head Start Vice President of EHS/HS as to the progress of individual training. Maintains training/credential files for each employee: educational credentials, child abuse training documentation, licensing training documentation, CPR/First Aide training documentation. Oversee data entry of information pertaining to employee PIP and training sessions attended. Other duties as assigned. MAINTENANCE

 

Custodial Supervisor (F/T) Bridgeton NJ – Will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of Gateway’s Bridgeton properties and provide work direction to custodial staff. Three years’ experience is required. Must pass criminal history check. Dependable attendance. Ability to work independently. Physical ability to lift 25 lbs. Understanding of cleaning compounds, chemicals, and their safe and efficient use. Experience and knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Basic computer knowledge.

 

SOCIAL SERVICES

 

Homer Energy Assistance Tech (F/T) Salem NJ - Assist applicants with completing HEA applications. Manage case files. Answer incoming calls, enter data into computer. Ability to work in busy office, handle heavy work load. Must have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, friendly attitude. 1-year experience in consumer friendly environment, ability to work flexible hours.

 

SPRING GARDENS SENIOR HOUSING

 

Custodial Maintenance/Security (2 P/T) Vineland NJ - Respond to resident emergencies, perform maintenance functions to include unclog toilets, replace smoke detector batteries, empty trash, monitor trash shuts, mop and clean areas as needed etc. Assure building

is secure after hours, perform routine hall monitoring during shift. This is a part-time weekend position. Must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate. One years’ experience in custodial field. Valid NJ Driver License, ability to work independently, self-starter, good communication skills & bilingual preferred.

 

URBAN FARM

 

Urban Farm Head Grower (F/T) - The head grower will be responsible for overseeing production of hydroponic greenhouse vegetables. Work will include crop scheduling, fertilization, pest monitoring, crop care and harvesting. Minimum two years’ prior horticultural experience required. Must have valid NJ Driver License and good organizational and communication skills.

Administrative Clerk (F/T) Cumberland County - The Administrative clerk will be responsible for weekly staff time sheets, maintaining attendance controllers and tracking paid time off, conducting monthly program and office supply inventory, Processing and tracking supply requests from various administrative sites. In addition, responsible for writing up Purchase orders and maintaining and organizing the orders in excel. Responsible for all program communications with third party vendors. The Administrative clerk will also be responsible for determining participants’ program eligibility, health screenings (blood work and anthropometrics); preparing participant charts, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, filing. Travel within Gateway CAP service area is required. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/program manager. A High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Driver’s license; travel is required. One-year experience with administrative duties and must be computer literate. Have excellent customer service skills; be reliable and able to work with children and be comfortable working in a high-paced environment. Ability to work independently, bilingual (Spanish speaking) is highly desirable. 35 hours work week.
