Millions of workers could overlook a special federal tax credit because they don't know about it. As a result, they could miss out on up to $5,751 extra in their federal income tax refunds through the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC. Last year, on average, the credit boosted refunds for eligible workers by $2,100.

You could be eligible to get more money back from the IRS - as much as $5,751. If you earned less than $49,078 from wages, self-employment, or farming last year, you may qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit - or EITC.

Gateway Community Action Partnership operates the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants & Children (WIC) in Camden, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties.
The program provides supplemental foods, nutrition education, lactation support, immunization education and health care referrals to income-eligible pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to age 5.

 Marine returns home to surprise son at Penns Grove Head Start

PENNS GROVE – A surprised two-year-old Chase Halstead stared wide-eyed for a moment at the man standing in the middle of his Early Head Start classroom in a U.S. Marine Corps uniform, and then sprinted into the man’s arms.
