SOCIAL SERVICES
Home Energy Assistance Technician (F/T) Salem NJ - Assist applicants with completing HEA application.  Manage case files.  Answer incoming calls & enter data into computer.  Ability to work in busy office, handle heavy workload.  1-year experience in consumer friendly environment, ability to work flexible hours.  Valid New Jersey Driver License, High School Diploma or GED, friendly attitude.

WIC
Program Nutritionist (F/T) Cumberland & Atlantic Counties NJ - The program nutritionist will be responsible for determining participants’ nutritional risk and needs, will prescribe supplemental food and provide individual/group counseling to WIC program participants.  Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service training and other professional and staff development activities. Supervises clinic operations including but not limited to highrisk counseling; development of lesson plans and special activities. Assists in organizing and maintaining of general nutrition education materials and displays in the WIC clinics such as bulletin boards, pamphlets, food displays, etc. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with multi-cultural, and multi-lingual clientele and /staff. Travel within Gateway CAP service area is required. Applicants must work well independently, and with the team. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.  A valid Driver License is required. A Bachelors’ Degree is required.  BS in Foods and Nutrition, community nutrition, or Dietetics.  Verification of IV/V or DPD from ADA Preferred.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor/program manager.  A High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Driver’s license are required; travel is required. Have excellent customer service skills; be reliable and able to work with children and be comfortable working in a high-paced environment.  One-year experience with administrative duties and must be computer literate Ability to work independently, bilingual (Spanish speaking) is highly desirable.  

 URBAN FARM
Maintenance Technician (Temp P/T) Bridgeton NJ – Responsible for maintenance of buildings and equipment on urban farm and food distribution programs.  General upkeep and repairs.  May include grounds-keeping work.  1-year experience in related field, basic knowledge of carpentry and plumbing, experience with power tools.  Valid New Jersey Driver License, High School Diploma or GED, ability to work independently.

Abbott Substitute Teacher (As Needed) Bridgeton NJ – Responsible for filling in for absent teachers. Must be able to follow a classroom schedule, lesson plan, and work with children of ages 3-4. The position is on-call when needed and shifts may vary from day-to-day. High School Diploma or GED certificate, Bridgeton or County substitute certificate, and a valid NJ Driver License are required.

Substitute Teacher’s Assistant (As Needed) Bridgeton NJ – To execute educational program in line with CCELC educational goals, beliefs, and designed curriculum. Responsible for filling in for absent teachers. Must be able to follow a classroom schedule and work with various ages 0-5. Position is on-call when needed shift may vary from day-to-day. Abbott Teacher (F/T) Bridgeton NJ - Responsible for the supervision and coordination of assigned classroom; ensuring that it meets with Head Start Performance Standards, Abbott Requirements and the New Jersey Licensing Regulations.  Visit the home of each child at least two (2) times within the program year.  Prepare and conduct two (2) parent/teacher conferences within the program year.  Must meet the qualification requirements as specified in one of the six options set forth in Chapter 122, Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers, State of New Jersey, 10:122-4.5 (c). Education Outreach Worker (F/T) Bridgeton NJ. - The Education Outreach Worker is responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and facilitating the effective delivery of Education, Health, Social Services and Parent Involvement to Head Start children, families and child care partners in accordance with New Jersey Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards.  Must have an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child. Development or related field; or must commit to attaining degree and currently have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.,  along with 15 college credits. Pick-up, delivery, and assembly of equipment and supplies for Head Start Centers. Routine maintenance of playground equipment and grounds. Interior/exterior utility/repair work at Head Start Centers as assigned by supervisor.
